An easy and fun process to learn, cyanotype is one of the earliest photographic printing processes and yields a beautiful, blue print. Join us at Space One Eleven to print photograms, photographs, and drawings as cyanotypes during this one day workshop. All materials will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring along objects for photograms and digital images saved to a USB drive. If you have a laptop with Photoshop or Gimp, bring it along for your personal use. If not, you can share ours! Not skilled at image manipulation using a computer? Don’t worry, we will lead you through the process.
To register, please call Cheryl Lewis at (205) 328-0553 ext. 27. You may pay by credit card at the time of registration to reserve your seat in the workshop.
This workshop is being offered in conjunction with Multiple Methods: A Print Exhibition which is showing in SOE’s galleries through April 25, 2014.
