Grades 6-12
During this camp, young artists learned to use the tools and techniques of various printmaking processes to create multiple images using their own ideas and imagination. The emphasis of this camp was on relief, monoprinting, intaglio, and silkscreen printing. Students learned how to operate the studio printing press as well as how to print on fabric and apparel items. This camp was taught by Nic Tisdale. Nic has an M.F.A in Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and specializes in digital printmaking. He currently teaches in the art departments at the University of Montevallo and Samford University.
