Carolyn Goldsmith

I have always had a deep desire to paint. Everything about it appeals to me. If I am not traveling, I can be found at work in my studio. The physical process of seeing a piece develop on the canvas is a completely unique experience. Changing the inert to the kinetic is a compelling challenge, a rewarding and magical experience for me.

My basic goal is to engage with the viewer. I hope that my paintings, with their freedom of form and pure artistic expression, will transcend the literal and bring meaning to one’s life journey.
