Mural Camp

July 15-19

From the cave paintings of Lascaux to wall paintings of Diego Rivera, people have been fascinated by art that is larger than life. This mural making camp will delve into painting on a “next level.” Students will learn how to up-scale imagery to produce a giant-sized work. Students will express themselves creatively, while also learning how to work on a team project. This camp will be taught by Darius Hill. Hill is the Chair of the Visual Arts Department at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. He holds an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Alabama and a BFA in Printmaking from the Atlanta College of Art.
