Architecture Camp will explore the creative tenets of architecture through sketching, model making, and design. We will work through drawings techniques, look at architecture through history, as well as walk through our city to explore the built environment. The walkabout will take us from the Space One Eleven studio, along Rotary Trail, and by an architecture studio and built project. Students will then begin the process of designing a project of their own, leveraging and refining the skills they are learning through drawing and model-making. The camp with be taught by Birmingham architects Kris Nikolich and Andrew C. Bryant of Design Initiative.
