Visual Artists Network (VAN) Residency, 2013
In conjunction with Interchange, artist Darin Forehand conducted a residency through the National Performance Network’s Visual Artists Network at Space One Eleven. Engagements with the community included a workshop with Alabama Charcoal students from SOE’s City Center Art program, an artist talk with paper-based arts co-op Paperworkers Local, printing demos on an 18th century French press with students from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and collaborations with artists Joe Minter and Tony Bingham.
