Young artists paint, draw, animate, and more to create works of art through projects influenced by artists from Alabama. Teaching artists are Tyler Carlisle and Kristin Meriam. Carlisle has over nine years of experience working as a Visual Arts Educator for children of all ages, skill levels, and learning styles. Meriam earned a Bachelor of Art from Bard College, and a Masters’s in Art Education from University of Alabama at Birmingham.
