This workshop explored techniques and new ways to see, use, and interpret found materials. Students created compositions with a variety of materials, images, found objects, paint, etc. Techniques included collage, drawing, painting, mixing, assemblage, cutting, and pasting, etc.
This workshop was designed to allow students exploration of some visual art forms and techniques through the elements and principles of art and design. Students produced a couple of artworks and learned skills and techniques associated with mixed media. Emphasis was placed on the elements of art and design with an emphasis on color, mood, texture and composition.
